All measurements below are taken with the garment laid flat, in inches and centimetres. If you are between sizes, or want a relaxed fit, size up.

How these measurements are taken
Chest width is measured across the front of the shirt, one inch below the armhole, with the garment laid flat. It is half the chest circumference — to compare against your own body measurement, measure around the fullest part of your chest and divide by two.
Body length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the bottom hem.
Sleeve length is measured from the centre back of the neck, across the shoulder, to the sleeve hem.
A note on tolerance
These tees are garment-dyed, meaning they are cut, sewn, and only then dyed and tumbled. It is the process that gives them their soft, broken-in feel and deep colour — but it also means no two shirts come out identical. The manufacturer specifies a tolerance of up to 2 inches on both chest width and body length. A shirt measuring slightly above or below the chart is normal and within spec, not a defect.
How the fit runs
Garment-dyed heavyweight cotton fits more relaxed than a standard tee. If you usually wear a medium in a lightweight retail t-shirt, a medium here will feel roomier through the body and slightly boxier. For a true oversized look, size up one. For a closer fit, stay with your usual size rather than sizing down — these are unisex cuts and going down often shortens the body more than it narrows the chest.
Oversized-fit styles
A few of our designs are cut on a different oversized blank and run only to XL or 2XL. If the product page lists a size range that stops before 3XL, the chart above does not apply to it. Message us before ordering and we will send the exact measurements for that style.
Still not sure?
The most reliable method is to measure a t-shirt you already own and love. Lay it flat, measure across the chest one inch below the armhole and from the shoulder to the hem, then match those two numbers to the chart. If you are still between sizes, get in touch — we would rather help you get it right than process a return.
